Morgins in Winter
Morgins is one of the 12 interlinked ski villages on both sides of the Swiss/French border, making up the huge Portes du Soleil – the largest linked ski area in the world with over 650km of marked pistes up to 2400m, over 230 lifts, immense off piste opportunities and an excellent snow record.
From Morgins, the other Portes du Soleil villages such as Chatel and Avoriaz can be easily reached on skis.
There are 2 main lifts out of the village, the Foilleuse, linking to Les Crosets and Avoriaz, and the Corbeau leading to Super Chatel and Torgon. In addition, Morgins benefits from a completely separate and safe beginners area next to the crèche, with its own drag lift, toboggan area, restaurant and children’s snow park.
We can prebook your ski hire and lessons at discounted rates and advise on which lift pass best suits your needs.
We can arrange any of the following for you:
Cross country skiing (250km) ▪ Telemark skiing ▪ Snow kiting ▪ Paragliding ▪ Snowshoe walks ▪ Thermal baths ▪ Ice Skating ▪ Curling ▪ Night skiing ▪ Heliskiing ▪ Off piste guiding
